Meet Lieutenant K9 Cena 🐾💙 Serving alongside the Coos County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit, Cena helps protect approximately 66,000 citizens across 1,600 square miles of Coos County, Oregon. As a dedicated tracking and apprehension K9, she has already helped track and capture an incredible 72 criminals to date — talk about a hero on four legs! Recently, Cena gave her team a scare when she suddenly became very ill and lethargic right before her shift. We were proud and honored to care for her here at EVH, and it was truly a privilege to be part of her journey back to health. She’s now back home and back to work! 💪🐕 Handled by Adam @ccsopaws and loved by so many, Cena has quickly become a staff favorite — and it’s easy to see why.
